It really is with the greatest pleasure that we bring you news of a really unique concept that is set to burst onto the off-road race calendar early next year. Urban X will see racers taking to the carpet with each meeting staged in an industrial city warehouse. The event will tour the UK's major city locations during the coming year. Birmingham is set to launch the first event with up to 100 racers expected to attend. The meeting will accommodate 1/16th and 1/10th off-road classes, with brilliant venue facilities and manufacturers' trading stands available upon request.
The event organisers have a truly embracing concept with this planned tour. The focus is on making each race meeting accessible to as many racers as possible due to their central city locations, whilst also hosting these meetings in some damn cool places that have yet to see buggy tyres during their deep industrial history. Fun, fast-paced racing excitement and a chance to visit a city you may have never seen.
